EN/RU

1) To get started, you need to do is Export/Bounce audio tracks as a WAV or AIFF file and give them appropriate names (lead vocal, backing vocal, guitar, bass, keys, kick, snare, hi hats and etc.). All audio tracks can either be Mono or Stereo. All audio tracks can be 32-, 24- or 16-bit at 44.1 KHz, 48 KHz, 88.2 KHz or 96 KHz. All audio tracks should be without any effects on them (Compression / Reverb / EQ / Delay and etc.). Only leave those plug-ins that an integral part of a composition and work as a special effects or creative elements of a track or composition (such as Filter Sweeps, Delays and etc.), please provide the processed version of a track plus a ‘dry safety’ version too. You may also need to turn off any effects on your master stereo bus. IMPORTANT – please make sure that you will Export/Bounce each audio track from the same starting point (“zero point”) in your audio recording software.

2) Once you have prepared your tracks as it described above, compress all audio files into one ZIP or RAR archive file. You can upload your archive to any file sharing system (like Gobbler, Wetransfer.com, Dropbox, Google Drive etc.) or website that you can trust and send us a link to it, also you can upload your tracks directly to our FTP server (email us if you would like to have access to our FTP server); also you can send us a DVD, CD or Flash Drive with your project. It would be very nice if you can send along with all individual tracks for the project a rough pre-mix version of it, that will help us better understand your compositional idea of a project. Also, please attach a description list with all nuances and notes about your project. If you have audio examples of your favorite tracks by other artists with the sounds that you like and you want to hear your project being similar, please let us know too.

3) After receiving your material our engineer will test all the tracks and will let you know if everything is correct and in line with our requirements.

4) Then, you will be charged of a first payment that will be a half of a complete work cost. We accept money transfers through MoneyGram, WesternUnion or direct bank transfers to our account. It is also possible to pay online via PayPal and WebMoney. More info about payment and all our bank information will be written in service contract and sent to you via e-mail.

5) After a first payment within 3-4 business days you will get the first mixing version of your composition. When it comes to working on the full-length album, because every project has a lot of variables (such as number of songs, complexity of each mixing and many others), we can’t give a definite deadline for the full process, but we will be able to tell you an approximate time frame for the whole project. On average, for each song will be around 2-3 days of a turnaround time. If you need rush processing time for your project – in most cases we can do that, but please let us know about that as early as you can so we can calculate rush processing fees for your project.

6) Then we will send to you pre-mastered track that will have a few moments of silence (this simply insures that the track is a sample and not suitable for distribution, so it can’t be used for any purpose other than referencing the mixing), these moments of silence will be short enough and do not disturb understanding of the mixing quality.

7) After reviewing mixing version of your composition you need to send us your opinion and suggestions for the mixing adjustment.

8) When you are 100% satisfied with the result of the work, then you will make remaining payment for the mixing service. Then we will bounce a full mixing package of your project without sound dropouts. If our Mixing service ordered together with Mastering service – final mixing/mastering-package will include the final mastering version of the composition too. Our standard mixing-package consisting of the following elements:

  • main mix,
  • backing track (mix without lead vocals or lead instruments),
  • 24-bit version of a composition without mastering,
  • final mastered version of a composition (if Mastering service ordered too).

Of course every project is different and some other mixing types might be necessary – just let us know about it.

1) For the best result please send your material in a 24-bit WAV or AIFF file. IMPORTANT – please leave around -8dB and -6dB of headroom on yours track and remove Limiter and Compressor on your master channel and make sure the mixdown is not clipping. Also, let us know if you have ISRC codes and CD-text information for your compositions. Please remember that mastering will not save a really poor mixed track, so get good mixing of your composition before you move to process of mastering!

If you releasing a physical CD, we will burn for you a physical CD (Red book master). Please let us know if you want us to include your ISRC codes (these codes are identifying each track on your CD and allow royalty reporting). You can apply for ISRC’s by your own or through companies that provide ISRS registration (for more information about ISRC codes please visit: www.riaa.com, www.ifpi.org/isrc, www.cdbaby.com).
